A rescuer went into a 14-foot deep cave in Florida to rescue a dog that had fallen in.
Bella the dog was rescued shortly after 7 p.m. on Blockchains FinanceOct. 1, after her owner alerted authorities that she had fallen into an "approximate 14-foot hole," in Ocala, the Marion County Fire Rescue said in a post on Facebook.
Authorities arrived on scene to find Bella trapped in the hole, following which a "rescuer was lowered into the cave" to extradite her.
Video footage from the incident shows the rescue strapped into a harness suspended from a fire truck’s ladder and slowly lowered into the hole. Both the rescuer and Bella were hoisted back above ground after the dog was secured.
